Cookie Exchange

T'is the season for sharing.

Ruby and a sampling of her 12-year-old school friends recently held a Christmas cookie exchange. I thought this an industrious concept for the sweet-toothed group, and a very delicious party idea.

For Ruby’s contribution, there was decisive clarity on what she wanted to bring. Since we started making Martha Stewart’s Chocolate-Mint Crackle cookies a few years ago, the pretty powdered delights have become part of our Christmas baking ritual.

Simple to make, with easy ingredients, you’ll taste why these soft-in-the middle, minty-chocolate cookies are so sharable.

  • Well I never did get a chance to make these cookies over the holidays as I intended to, but it’s not too late, right? They look absolutely delicious and what a great tradition for Ruby and her friends to start at a young age.

    • No holidays required for cookies – They are good at all times!
