Hello Spring Bulbs

$15 goes along way to bring spring indoors with these simple, long-lasting bulbs.

A sure sign of spring is when our local flower shops start bulging with spring bulbs. Ahh, the colour, smells and promise of warmer days and sunshine to come.

Even if it’s still cold (er) outside, these good-value, hard-working reliables remind me that it won’t be long until I’m in the garden again.

I can’t resist forcing spring.

So I stock up on my floral cheap thrills. $15 goes a long way. Three pots – hyacinths, grape hyacinths and mini daffodils. Add a few interesting vessels you have on hand and some moss from the dollar store and you have your own garden delights that will last for weeks.

  • Beautifully done!
I love spring bulbs and winter blooming ones also such as paper whites and amaryllis

    • Thank you Han. I love paper whites too! The best thing about bulbs is that they last a long time and look amazing through all their growth phases.

What's on your mind?
